Who are the Friends ? ..........   What do they do ?

The Friends were established in 1997 following reorganisation of an earlier membership scheme. They aim to provide financial and other support for The Helicopter Museum, with opportunities for members to be actively involved. About 50% of subscriptions pass to The Museum with the remainder being used to purchase specific items for the Museum and to develop the Friends organisation.

Membership gives the following benefits:

1.  Free access to The Museum during normal opening hours.
2.  10% discount on most Museum shop purchases including a wider range of model helicopter kits than you'll see elsewhere.
3.  Regular "Bulletins" or quarterly newsletters.
4.  The opportunity to help develop fund-raising ideas.
5.  The chance for members to provide practical assistance for special projects and to help at many of the events which The Museum runs or attends.
6.  Contact with like-minded helicopter enthusiasts, with occasional social activities including visits to other museums and places of aviation interest.

If you would like to join the Friends you should click on Apply to Join, print and complete the form displayed and send it to the address provided.
